the family trying to huddle by the fire to keep warm. daddy even made us our morning coffee by warming up some water in a saucepan in the fire!!!! notice rose in the background trying to stay warm on my....snuggie!!! ha!
Well what a nice surprise to wake up last Thursday morning to a crazy amount of snow in Dallas (so much so in fact it set a record). we were so excited to go outside and play in it with sweet baby...until our power and 200,000 other dallas residences power went off. after one night in our freezing house expecting our power to come on at any moment...but didn't...we decided we'd had enough and we had to leave. we packed up our refrigerator and sweet baby and headed for zuzie and popies. what great hosts! but luckily, we only had to stay one night because our power came back on saturday morning!!!! we did finally get to make our snowman. here are some pictures!
